From the Board
August is just around the corner!
As summer nears its end, and back to school season begins, the Montgomery chapter is focused on doing what it can to support those in the community with its second Back to School supplies drive and sponsoring a family through the Family Sunshine Center. If you would like to contribute to either of these, please contact any chapter members or see below for more information.
It is also Conference Season, and we are getting excited to attend the 69th Annual Conference in Houston TX. Four of our members plan to attend in August. We hope they have a safe travels, and bring back some gems to share with the chapter to help each member build, lead, and succeed.
Our 2024-2025 Board has been elected and our installation ceremony is being planned for Friday, Sept 13 at 5:30. Please go to our local website www.nawicmgm.org to register to attend and support these ladies.
Those are just a few things that are being planned. Follow us on our social media platforms and check out our website to stay up to date on everything our chapter has going on. We appreciate your continued support!

We are collecting school supplies to benefit the local Boys & Girls Club as well as a monetary donation to the Family Sunshine Center to assist a family with school uniform needs. If you would like to contribute, please contact any chapter member to coordinate picking up your donation.
Calendar of Events
Connect with us on August 2nd at Eastchase in Ixtapa. All members and non-members are invited to join us for fellowship and networking. You can also bring any of the items for the school supply drive that you may wish to donate. Register so we can save you a seat!
Please register to join us on Friday, September 13th to recap our 2023-2024 NAWIC year and welcome our new Board Members and initiate them into office.
Registration for teams and sponsorships will be opening up soon for our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Robert Trent Jones in Prattville. All proceeds from the tournament are used to support our local scholarship fund, community service & outreach, member professional development & education and more!
NAWIC National News
NAWIC's National Annual Conference is coming up in August! We have 4 members that will be attending this year to represent NAWIC MGM. We wish them safe travels and can't wait to hear all they've learned.
Registration is still open to members and non-members in the construction industry.
Congratulations to the newly elected National Board! We look forward to their leadership and support of local chapters.
